WUST
In Poland it will be located on the premises of the Renewable Energy Laboratory (REL), located at WUST site. The installation will be an integral part of the existing heating ventilation, air-conditioning (HVAC) system in the Geocentrum building. Immediately after construction and commissioning, it is intended that the innovative installation will be used as the primary summer cooling system for rooms on the 3rd floor of the building. The REL was created to promote renewable energy sources amongst students as well as during meetings with city officials and industry companies, etc. During WUST’ open days, it is also available for high school students. This is also the case during the Lower Silesian Science Festival and the Open Laboratories Night. The new installation will therefore be the focus of attention during all of this events. The REL maintains its infrastructure thanks to the budget from the Department of Thermodynamics and Renewable Energy Sources and WUST. Consequently, the resulting installation will continue to be maintained for many years after the project concludes, thus enabling students and visitors, etc. to get to know these pioneering and innovative solutions aimed at Climate Change Mittigation Actions.

CIESOL
In Spain system will be also connected to the already existing HVAC system powered by solar collectors, located on the premises of The Solar Energy Research Center (CIESOL) at UAL site. CIESOL gives young graduates access to the research field, and provides training and promotion opportunities to the CIESOL staff. The center’s main goal is to foster relationships with other national and international centers in order to promote better communication amongst related areas. CIESOL organizes many scientific and popularizing events. The most important actions include the Solar Facilities for the European Research Area program, which aims to boost scientific collaboration among the leading European research institutions in solar concentrating systems, offering European research and industry access to the best research and test infrastructures and creating a virtual European laboratory. CIESOL, as a UAL facility, is provided with financing both for infrastructure and for staffing the operating systems installed in the building, thus guaranteeing the active use of the cooling system designed under the LIFE program. This use will continue for many years after the project ends as it will provide an excellent experimental set-up with many scientific and teaching possibilities.
